Jamie recognizes that the decision to come to therapy can take great courage and therefore, strives to always adopt a compassionate, gentle and respectful approach to his work.

ISTDP attempts to address the root cause of a person’s difficulties utilising an emotion-focused framework. These difficulties are often internal (i.e., come from within a person) and covered by hidden (“unconscious”) barriers or defenses that can interfere with a person’s healing journey.
