Olga always strives to be genuine, open, respectful and collaborative in her relationships with clients. It is important to her that clients feel safe and accepted within the therapeutic relationship. Olga is passionate about helping clients gain knowledge and insight in order to empower them to make fully-informed decisions for themselves, and live a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
Olga works from a client-centred framework, this enables her to work with clients using interventions that suits their needs. She predominately uses CBT interventions but also uses interventions from ACT, interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution focussed therapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing.
Olga recognises that we live in a world where gender inequality and other inequalities exist, therefore she also works from a trauma informed and feminist framework that addresses this and promotes healing and recovery.

When working with children and adolescents, she is family inclusive and believes that this leads to
better outcomes. She has vast experience working with clients from a wide range of cultural
backgrounds and always strives to be culturally sensitive and informed.
Olga is passionate about further expanding her knowledge of gender inequality, along with other
inequalities, in order to better understand how it impacts upon mental health. She strives to apply this knowledge in her work with clients. She fervently believes in empowering her clients through knowledge in order for them to make decisions for themselves from a place of freedom and power.
