About Ruth

Ruth is an experienced psychologist who has been registered since 2001. She has extensive experience working in organisational, private and community settings.

Taking a compassionate and empathic approach to her work with individuals and couples, Ruth operates from the position that awareness is the first point of change.

Working from a place of non judgement, Ruth uses a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches to assist clients to find solutions to their challenges, and move forward. She draws from a variety of evidence based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution focused Therapy and Mindfulness.

Ruth has developed an interest in report writing. On client’s behalf she submits reports to the County Court of Victoria, Magistrates Court of Victoria, Federal Circuit Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
